Yes you can cancel individual bookings by going to your booking and cancelling individual items. Please note deposit fees may still apply.
You are able to cancel your booking via the bookings calendar or your approved bookings.
Refund Policy for Deposits:
Deposits are required to secure a reservation for a rental on our app. The deposit amount will be 18% of the total and is clearly stated in the reservation confirmation email.
Our refund policy for deposits is as follows:
1. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund of the deposit.
2. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start time will not be eligible for a refund of the deposit.
3. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit for the deposit amount that can be applied to a future rental.
4. If the rental is cancelled due to an issue with the rental equipment, we will offer a full refund of the deposit.
5. If the rental is cancelled by us for any reason, we will offer a full refund of the deposit.
6. If the rental is cancelled by the store for any reason, we will offer a full refund of the deposit
7. Bookings made within 48 hours of the rental start time will not be eligible for a refund of the deposit in the event of cancellation. We recommend that customers carefully consider their rental needs before booking within this timeframe. If the rental is cancelled due to an issue with the rental equipment or by us for any reason, we will offer a full refund of the deposit.
Please note that refunds may take up to 10 business days to process. Rentsy will only provide a refund for the monies held and will not refund promotional codes redeemed.

Rentsy offers a wide array of items you can hire from party goods to sporting and equipment hire. The items may vary depending on location and availability for each store.
The best way to do this is to use our in-app search filters. First select the city where you will be renting the item and then filter by category, sub-category and price.
Once you`ve found the item you want to rent or hire, you can make a reservation by selecting the dates and times you need it and submitting to the store. This reservation request will be sent to the store. Once approved the deposit for the booking will de processed from your chosen credit card.
The remainder is to be paid to the store when you pick up your rental items. You can find the remainder amount from the booking summary in the app and your email.
You can pick up your rental item in-person from the store. You can find the stores location from the map in the stores profile.
In the instance that you lose or damage the rental item please get in contact directly with the store. Each store has different policies which you need to follow in the instance this happens.
You are able to review your rental item once you complete your booking. We appreciate your kind feedback for the store as reviews can be helpful for future renters and can also help the store improve its service.
All bookings are required to pay a booking deposit. This is only deducted from your credit card once the store approves the booking.
Don’t worry, this is completely normal and your account hasn’t been double charged.
When you make a booking on Rentsy, we place a temporary pre-authorisation hold on your payment method. Once the booking is confirmed by the store, this hold is converted into an actual charge, and the initial pre-authorisation will be automatically released by your bank.
Depending on your bank, it may take 1–5 business days for the pre-authorisation to disappear from your statement.
